Ernst Statement on U.S.-Iran Agreement

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a combat veteran, released the following statement: “While the full details of this agreement have yet to be released, a deal of this magnitude deserves thorough review. It is critical that the Senate has the opportunity to examine the details, ask tough questions, and ensure America's interests and those of our allies are protected. Our objective must remain clear: Iran cannot be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. Any agreement must verifiably and permanently prevent that outcome." ###
