BEDFORD, MA – Today, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) joined local VA officials to celebrate the grand opening of the newly renovated Women’s Health Clinic at VA Bedford. The renovations include additional exam rooms, upgraded clinical equipment, and private meeting rooms. These renovations will facilitate additional offerings including maternity education and diagnostic services. Bedford VA currently serves nearly 1,500 women patients. “For 250 years, American women have donned the uniform to defend our democracy with distinction and valor. It has always been and continues to be our responsibility to ensure these heroes are treated with honor, dignity, and quality care when they come home,” said Democratic Whip Katherine Clark. “While Trump erases and insults their service, here in Massachusetts, we are continuing to prioritize the health and wellbeing of our heroes.
