Statement from Representative John W. Mannion on Senate Passage of the Trump-Republican Budget Bill

July 2, 2025 Press Release SYRACUSE, N.Y.- Representative John Mannion (NY-22) today released the following statement on the Senate passing the Trump-Republican budget bill: “Every independent, nonpartisan analysis of the Trump–Republican budget agrees: it will add trillions to the deficit, kick millions of people off their health care, and slash the nation’s social safety net to cover the cost of reckless tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.  And that was before the Senate version made it even worse. We need a federal budget that is more honest and more responsible.
