Senator Andy Kim’s 2025 Year in Review

JERSEY CITY, NJ –Today, Senator Andy Kim released his inaugural“End of Year Senate Report”and2025 wrap up video, where he broke down the work that he and his office have done to deliver for the ~9.5 million New Jerseyans throughout his first year as a United States Senator.

Throughout Senator Kim’s first year as a United States Senator, he worked on a total of 67 pieces of legislation, including introducing 26 bills, co-leading 18 bills, and co-sponsoring another 23 bills. These efforts includehousing packagesto make it easier for all New Jerseyans to afford to live with dignity, legislation to further secure partnerships withour allies abroad,public service packagesto help ease the burdens of our Public Servants, and legislation toroot out corruption and restore trustbetween elected officials and those they represent.
Working for those at home, Senator Kim was able to hold 10 town halls across New Jersey while also making 88 visits to all 21 counties across the state,meeting people on trains, inDiners, andon-the-ground in their communitiesto hear what they need from their elected officials. All of this while Senator Kim’s office answered over 18,000 phone calls, 55,000 voicemails, and over 1 million emails from constituents, saving New Jerseyans over $3,000,000 and closing over 5,300 cases.
As 2025 comes to a close and the office prepares for 2026, Senator Kim will continue to speak out and fight for the needs of his 9.5 million bosses back home. Whether that meansfighting to protect the Gateway project,taking on the powerful at home and in D.C., ortaking time to meet communities where they are at, he will continue working to create a better New Jersey that works for all, not just the powerful and well-connected.
