Capito: How West Virginia Stands to Benefit from the Rural Health Transformation Program
WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.)announcedlast week that West Virginia is set to receive nearly $200 million through the Rural Health Transformation Program. The program, authorized by theWorking Families Tax Cuts Act, also known as the One Big Beautiful Bill, delivers on Republicans’ promise to increase affordability and the standard of living for Americans across the country.
Senator Capito, through her position in Senate Republican leadership and as Chairman of the Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Appropriations Subcommittee, played a central role in the creation of the Rural Health Transformation Program.
