Rep. Fischbach Met with Morris Business Leaders to Discuss Housing Legislation & Boosting the Workforce

Willmar, MN -- Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach met with leaders from local businesses, including Superior Industries, Bonanza Bean, Westmor, and Riverview Dairy, to discuss the challenges caused by limited housing availability and workforce development in Western Minnesota communities. Rep. Fischbach highlighted her recent legislative efforts in DC to help increase rural housing development, including her support for the 21st Century Road to Housing Act and her co-sponsorship of the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act. Both initiatives focus on cutting through red tape and streamlining permitting to pave the way for faster homebuilding and increased availability of affordable, single-family homes in rural communities.
