Congresswoman King-Hinds Congratulates New Trump Cabinet Confirmations

January 31, 2025 Press Release Washington – Today, Congresswoman King-Hinds congratulated the confirmation of two Trump cabinet appointees: Doug Burgum, for Secretary of the Interior, and Sean Duffy, for Secretary of Transportation. “I am excited for the opportunity to work with Secretaries Burgum and Duffy,” said Congresswoman King-Hinds. “By collaborating with them, I believe we can make much-needed improvements to the CNMI.” Secretary Burgum was confirmed by the U.S. Senate today, while Secretary Duffy’s confirmation took place earlier this week. Congresswoman King-Hinds will work closely with Secretary Duffy as a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and Secretary Burgum through his department’s Office of Insular Affairs.
