Welch Announces Registration is Open for 2025 Women’s Economic Opportunity Conference

RANDOLPH, VT– Today,U.S. Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.)announced registration is now open for this year’s annual Women’s Economic Opportunity Conference (WEOC), held Saturday, September 27, 2025. Vermonters interested in attending this free event can learn more and sign up by visitingwelch.senate.gov/weoc.
“The annual Women’s Economic Opportunity Conference helps create new connections, expand opportunities, and open new doors. This free event was championed for over two decades by my predecessor Senator Patrick Leahy and his wife Marcelle—now, Margaret and I are honored to continue this tradition. I hope Vermonters from across the state attend this year’s conference and learn from experts and fellow participants,”said Senator Welch.
This event is held in partnership with the Vermont Women’s Fund and the Vermont Community Foundation. The 2025 WEOC will be held at Vermont State University in Randolph. The full schedule of events and keynote speaker will be announced soon.
