Congressman Bennie Thompson Announces USDA Rural Development Loan Guarantee for Eastgate Apartments Rehabilitation in Humphreys County

Thompson ( MS-02 ) today announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development's approval of a $50,000 loan guarantee under the Multi-Family Housing Loan Guarantees program to assist with the transfer, assumption, and rehabilitation of Eastgate Apartments, a family Section 515 multi-family housing complex in Belzoni, Mississippi. The project, led by Eastgate Apartments II LP, aims to significantly enhance living conditions for current and future tenants. The complex, consisting of 16 two-bedroom units, will undergo substantial rehabilitation, ensuring quality and affordable housing for families in Humphreys County.
