That’s why I am a hard NO on Republicans’ bill to give a $70 billion blank check to ICE as it terrorizes communities and undermines our constitutional rights—all while it still has billions leftover from Trump’s big ugly bill that is stripping away health insurance from millions of Americans. Republicans are shoveling billions into Trump’s lawless immigration enforcement agencies and giving him free range to waste taxpayer money on corrupt schemes like his $1 billion ballroom and a $1.8 billion slush fund to reward his friends and violent insurrectionists. Taxpayers deserve oversight and accountability—I voted NO on this reckless, Republican reconciliation bill. ###
