Release: REP. HILL Statement on Supporting President Trump-backed Funding BILL

PressView on hill.house.gov

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today released the following statement after the House passed H.R. 1968 - Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025. “I supported today’s government funding bill to give President Trump time to negotiate his priorities and make recommendations for FY26 spending. The bill also modestly cuts spending year over year, which is an important step in the right direction. “As I have said before, we are in this position because we did not complete our work at the end of the last Congress when FY25 spending should have been finalized. My colleagues and I will continue our work to pass the appropriations bills for FY26 between now and September.”
