It Was a Joy Visiting Cheatham County!

June 5, 2026 Blog Post Hello, it’s Congressman Matt Van Epps. I represent Tennessee’s Seventh Congressional District! Over the past several months, I’ve had the honor of visiting several locations in Cheatham County! I sat down with county leadership for a roundtable discussion, toured the A.O. Smith Water Heater Plant to see their operations firsthand, and met with the Cheatham County Cattlemen’s Association to discuss the needs of the local agricultural community. Cheatham County, which recently celebrated its 170th birthday, is tucked in the heart of our district, and I’ve witnessed the strong values its residents share. The communities here offer a unique balance of rural charm and access to opportunity. The proud home of legendary Coach Pat Summit, Cheatham County continues to inspire those who visit our district.
