Nunn . “Whether it’s advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, transportation, or public safety, this investment will help equip the next generation of Iowa workers with the skills, hands-on training, and career pathways Iowa employers need filled right now.” Rep. Nunn announced the funding at a press conference alongside DMACC leadership, workforce partners, employers, local elected officials, and community stakeholders. Following the press conference, Rep. Nunn toured the Ankeny campus and the future site of the new academic facility. The planned 120,000-square-foot building will expand hands-on career training opportunities in high-demand fields including manufacturing, transportation, public safety, and the skilled trades — helping meet growing workforce needs across Iowa.
