Hoyer Statement on Republicans’ Taking Down Legislative Days Ahead of Government Funding Deadline

Hoyer (MD-05) released the following statement after House Republicans removed the last two legislative days before the government shutdown deadline: "House Republicans' continue to put politics over people with their decision to take down the only two remaining legislative days before the deadline for a government shutdown. The move is clearly a political tactic designed to make it impossible for the Senate to amend their bill and engage in bipartisan solutions.
