Sheehy Delivers Major Wins in National Defense Authorization Act
U.S. SENATE– Senator Tim Sheehy released the following statement after securing several wins to modernize America’s military in the FY 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which passed the Senate this week:
“Americans constantly read headlines about growing threats and potential conflicts as adversaries like China innovate and expand their militaries rapidly; it is critical the United States does the same. The reforms included in the Senate NDAA will modernize our defense acquisition system, ensuring we are able to not just produce weapons and materials quickly, but re-fit, re-tool, and redeploy them just as fast. We can’t afford to wait until the next conflict starts to reinvigorate our defense industrial base, and I am proud to lead the charge in the Senate to ensure our warfighters have the resources and support they need to meet the demands of the 21stcentury.”
