ICYMI: U.S. Senate Unanimously Passes Shaheen, Crapo Bipartisan Resolution to Commemorate National Community Policing Week

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Mike Crapo (R-ID) applauded the unanimous passage of their bipartisan resolution to commemorate National Community Policing Week. Shaheen first introduced the resolution in 2017 to establish the first full week of October as National Community Policing Week, and it has been passed annually by the Senate on a bipartisan basis ever since. The bipartisan resolution recognizes the service and sacrifice of the law enforcement community and underscores the importance of community policing.
