Senator César Blanco Hosts Successful Electronic Recycling Event
in El Paso
El Paso, Texas – Yesterday, Senator César J. Blanco hosted a free Electronic Recycling Event at
the Wayne Thornton Community Center at Grandview. The event provided El Paso residents
with an opportunity to responsibly dispose of their old electronics, including computers, laptops,
phones, and other devices.
Senator Blanco’s initiative was met with enthusiastic support as local residents brought their
unwanted electronics for recycling. The event underscored the importance of proper e-waste
disposal in keeping the community clean and protecting the environment.
More than 250 electronic devices were properly disposed of.
Senator Blanco issued the following statement:
“I want to thank everyone who joined us today for this important event. Properly recycling
electronics is not just about reducing waste, it’s about protecting our environment, conserving
valuable resources, and keeping hazardous materials out of our landfills.
“By coming together as a community, we’re taking meaningful steps toward a cleaner, more
sustainable future for El Paso. I’m proud to see so many people in our community taking action
to make a lasting impact!
