Gallego to Vote for Cloture on GENIUS Act

WASHINGTON –Today,Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), Ranking Member of the Digital Assets Subcommittee, issued the following statement on his vote on cloture on theGuiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act:
“This evening, I will vote to advance consideration of the GENIUS Act. After weeks of negotiations, we are headed in a direction that addresses many of the concerns my colleagues and I have raised both in committee and with our Republican colleagues.
“With this vote, I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues to achieve a final bill that protects consumers and ensures America remains a leader in digital asset innovation.”
