Bennet Statement on War Powers Resolution

Washington, D.C.— Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, issued the following statement following the vote on Senator Kaine’s War Powers Resolution:
“I voted for today’s War Powers Resolution to prevent the United States from creeping into another war in the Middle East without explicit Congressional authorization.
“The decision to go to war with Iran is too important for any President to make alone.”
