Cassidy on NewsNation: “Congress Needs to Get Down to Work and Address Social Security This Year!”

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) joined NewsNation to discuss the need for Congress to take urgent action to consider solutions to protect current and future retirees from a 22-28% benefit cut when Social Security goes insolvent in just six years. Cassidy urged colleagues to stop blocking the process to merely consider bipartisan solutions and do their job to fix Social Security this year. “People are objecting to doing their job.
