Daines Sent Letter of Support for Grant in 2026 WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today applauded a recent announcement from the U.S. Department of Transportation on the “Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development” (BUILD) Grant that was awarded to Missoula County to repair the Glacier Creek Bridge in Condon. “Big news for Missoula County- the U.S. Department of Transportation has granted over $3 million to repair the Glacier Creek Bridge in Condon. Safe and reliable infrastructure is a necessity, which is why I sent a letter to Secretary Duffy urging this action. This is a huge win and I’m grateful to see the administration prioritizing the needs of Montanans,” said Daines.
