ICYMI: Ciscomani Celebrates Grand Opening of the Albers Aerospace Location in Tucson

October 5, 2026 Press Release 'I am proud to support this team of warfighters who make a difference in our communities by strengthening our local economy, creating more jobs in our district, and helping lay the foundation for stronger national security.' Tucson, AZ - Representative Juan Ciscomani joined the Tucson community for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Albers Aerospace Profile, a veteran-owned company specializing in defense and aerospace container solutions. The company’s expansion strengthens Southern Arizona’s growing defense and aerospace manufacturing sector, bringing new jobs and investment to the region. "Time after time, this community continues to demonstrate that it’s the right place to invest, and the people here are the right people to help that growth and investment. This is the right place for you all to be, and we welcome you with arms wide open," said Representative Ciscomani. "I am proud to support this team of warfighters who make a difference in our communities by strengthening our local economy, creating more jobs in our district, and helping lay the foundation for stronger national security." Ciscomani was joined at the grand opening by Marine Corps Colonel John Albers, founder and CEO of Albers Aerospace, to celebrate the company’s new investment in Southern Arizona. "We are honored to have the Congressman attend today. The values he represents in serving his district mirror Albers Aerospace’s values," said Albers. "We chose to expand in Tucson because of the tremendous defense ecosystem. We look forward to making an impact here together with our teammates, customers, and community." The expansion builds on Albers Aerospace’s acquisition of local precision manufacturer Parallel Ventures in early 2025. The new Tucson location is expected to double the company’s local workforce, creating opportunities for manufacturing engineers, CNC programmers and machine operators, assembly technicians, and inspectors. Local leaders, business organizations, and community stakeholders joined the September grand opening to celebrate the investment and its potential to support continued regional economic growth. "Albers Aerospace represents exactly the type of advanced manufacturing aerospace and defense company we want to see grow and succeed," said Pima County District 1 Supervisor Rex Scott. "With over 70,000 Pima County residents employed in aerospace and defense, its major role in our regional and statewide economy is undeniable. We will see continued growth and prosperity as more companies like Albers Aerospace choose to invest here. That is why today’s milestone is so significant." "We want to thank you for your investment, and we welcome you," said Joe Sell, president and CEO of The Chamber of Southern Arizona, extending congratulations on behalf of the organization’s board of directors and 1,500 investors. "This kind of investment is what pays the bills. This is how you get roads built, how you get parks built. It takes a tax base. So we thank you." Ciscomani’s support for Arizona’s workforce extends beyond economic development to ensuring veterans have the tools and opportunities to succeed in civilian careers. As a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, he has championed legislation to expand career and educational opportunities for nearly 80,000 veterans in Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District and veterans nationwide. Additionally, Ciscomani has led efforts to strengthen the Veterans Readiness and Employment Program through the Veterans Readiness and Employment Program Integrity Act ( H.R. 3579 ), which focuses on evaluating program effectiveness, collecting data on veteran employment outcomes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Building upon these efforts for local veterans, the House passed Ciscomani’s VETS Opportunity Act of 2025 ( H.R. 1458 ) earlier this year which aims to modernize GI Bill benefits by expanding educational opportunities and allowing veterans to use their earned benefits for nontraditional education pathways.
