Senator Alsobrooks Named to Two HELP Subcommittees

WASHINGTON, DC– Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) was named to two subcommittees on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee.
“Serving on these subcommittees will provide a unique opportunity to fight for the everyday needs of Marylanders,”said Alsobrooks.“From making sure a quality and affordable education is accessible for families to creating jobs and defending safe workplaces, I will work alongside my colleagues on behalf of Marylanders.”
The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) has jurisdiction over measures relating to education, labor, health, and public welfare, aging, agricultural colleges, and more:
