Bynum Tours New Affordable Housing Project in Clackamas
May 18, 2026 Press Release This weekend, Congresswoman Janelle Bynum (OR-05) toured Shortstack Milwaukie, a homeownership project in Clackamas County, adding 15 affordable homes to the city. The 900-square-foot, 2-bedroom, and 1.5-bath homes offer affordable homeownership opportunities for small families, couples, and individuals. “ Affordable housing starts with building more homes, ” said Rep. Bynum . “ Projects like these deliver real results that make homeownership a reality for more Oregonians. I will keep up the fight in Congress to make sure that anyone who wants to buy a home has the chance .” In Congress, Rep. Bynum is a member of the House Financial Services Committee and sits on the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance, where she works to address the housing shortage and make life more affordable for Oregon families.
