WASHINGTON—Today, United States Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN), a member of the Senate Appropriations and Foreign Relations Committees, commends the Senate’s passage of the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), marking 65 consecutive years Congress has passed this important bill, setting the policy priorities for the United States military. The FY26 NDAA supports essential resources for servicemembers and their families, strengthens America’s national security, and importantly, it authorizes significant investments in Tennessee.
