The funding comes from the Environmental Protection Agency and will be given to Nevada’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources toward removing common contaminants found in drinking water and protecting public health. “Every Nevadan deserves to have access to clean drinking water,” said Senator Rosen. “At a time when water shortages are worsening, it’s so important that we protect and conserve this essential resource. I am proud to have secured this important funding for our state, and I will continue pushing to ensure that every Nevadan has access to safe drinking water.” Senator Rosen has helped communities across Nevada secure critical funding and support for water infrastructure projects. In August, Senator Rosen joined the ceremonial groundbreaking of the first-ever drinking water system in the Lehman Creek Residential Area, for which she helped secure funding. In May, Senator Rosen helped deliver federal funding to a water infrastructure project in Carlin to reduce water loss and ensure the security of their drinking water system. Senator Rosen also introduced bipartisan legislation to protect drinking water infrastructure from extreme weather events. ### Facebook-f Instagram Youtube Flickr Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos
