Congressman Pat Harrigan Announces Winners of 2025 Congressional Art Competition

May 2, 2025 Press Release Contact: Lexi Kranich (814) 380-4408 WASHINGTON, D.C.— Congressman Pat Harrigan (NC-10) announced that Rachael Bliss, a student at West Forsyth High School, has been selected as the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition for North Carolina’s Tenth District. Rachael’s piece, “The Two Sides,” was selected by a panel of independent judges and will be sent to Washington, D.C. where it will hang in the halls of Congress. “Rachael’s work is a powerful reflection of creativity, skill, and American spirit,” said Congressman Harrigan. “I’m proud to have it represent North Carolina’s Tenth District in the U.S. Capitol, where it will be seen every day by fellow constituents, Members of Congress, and visitors from around the world.
