Senator Collins’ Statement on Departure of Darcie N. McElwee as U.S. Attorney

Washington, D.C.– U.S. Senator Susan Collins today released the following statement in response to the announcement of the departure of Darcie N. McElwee as U.S Attorney for Maine:
“Darcie McElwee served her country well as U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine.  She has dedicated her career to keeping our state safe, advocating for victims of crime, and upholding the law.  I am proud of the outstanding public service of my fellow Caribou native.”
