Wagner Statement on Israeli Strikes on Iran

June 11, 2025 Press Release Washington, DC - Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO) released the following statement in response to Israel’s strikes on Iran: “We must be abundantly clear: Iran made the choice to pursue nuclear weapons, and Israel has every right to defend itself from this existential threat. Iran has been given multiple opportunities to agree to proposals presented by the Trump Administration, and has systematically refused to accept peace. Iran made its choice, and now faces consequences for that action. The United States is watching, and Iran should be careful not to do anything that endangers the safety of Americans or our interests worldwide.”
