WASHINGTON, D.C.– Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) today released the following statement regarding the Senate budget resolution.
“Senate Republicans are keeping our promises to the American people. Our resolution will make President Trump’s tax cuts permanent and block the Democrats’ $4 trillion tax increase. We will kickstart the American economy and create jobs. Our resolution makes critical investments to secure our borders and to make our country safer. At the same time, we will continue putting an end to the wasteful Washington spending of the past four years. Senate Republicans are also unleashing affordable, reliable American energy. This will be a boom for Wyoming workers and job creators. Our Senate Republican budget resolution will get America back on track.”
