– Today, during a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Senator Rick Scott and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem
discussed
how Congress can support the Trump administration’s
outstanding efforts
to secure the southern border and make America safe again after years of Democrats’ failures endangering our homeland and lies that the border was secure.
Senator Scott and Secretary Noem also discussed DHS’s efforts to prepare for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Miami and cities across the nation, and coordination with state and local officials to have a safe and successful event.
