RELEASE: Gottheimer Meets with Wyckoff Girl Scout Troop to Discuss Government and Civic Engagement

<p><strong>WYCKOFF, NJ&nbsp;</strong>– U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined the Wyckoff Girl Troop 99007</p>

<p>&nbsp;at Washington Elementary School to discuss the importance of government and how it works. During the visit, Gottheimer spoke with the scouts about the role of public service, how laws are made, and why civic engagement is essential to strengthening communities.</p>

<p>“It was great to meet with such bright and engaged young leaders,”&nbsp;<strong>said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).</strong>&nbsp;“Their curiosity and commitment to learning about government give me a lot of hope and confidence for the future of our democracy.”</p>

<p>The scouts asked thoughtful questions and shared their perspectives on issues that matter to them, highlighting the next generation’s enthusiasm for leadership and service. Gottheimer emphasized the importance of staying informed, participating in the democratic process, and giving back to the community.</p>
