I want to share the most important resources currently available for Americans traveling or residing abroad. If you are traveling internationally, it is critical that you enroll in the State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive up-to-the-minute travel and security updates. STEP messages will include: Security alerts Demonstration alerts Health alerts Weather or natural disaster alerts Travel Advisory updates Routine messages about U.S. embassy and consulate services To sign up for STEP and access crisis response or evacuation information, please click here.
