With military livelihoods at stake, the Senate failed to act, blocking a common-sense funding extension nine separate times. Last month, I supported, and the House passed a straightforward, short-term funding bill to keep the government open through November. We did our job, but the Senate chose gridlock over responsibility. It’s time to get back to delivering for the American people.
