Financial Services Committee Advances Wagner Legislation to Support Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses

July 22, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Chair of the Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, released the following statement after the Financial Services Committee advanced her Developing and Empowering our Aspiring Leaders (DEAL) Act: “Small businesses and entrepreneurs drive innovation in communities throughout Missouri and our nation, but too often they have trouble accessing capital that will help them reach even greater heights.  My DEAL Act will take down the barriers facing them and support small businesses as they stimulate economic growth and support good-paying jobs.  I look forward to the House taking up this legislation as we work to remove unnecessary regulations that prevent innovators from reaching their full potential.”
