Gallego Statement on GENIUS Act Senate Passage

WASHINGTON –Today,Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), Ranking Member of the Digital Assets Subcommittee, issued the following statement on Senate passage of theGuiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act:
“Today’s strong bipartisan passage of the GENIUS Act is proof of what can be achieved through honest negations and a willingness to work across the aisle. With the GENIUS Act’s passage, we are meaningfully closer to a stablecoin regulatory landscape in the U.S. that provides clear rules of the road, protects consumers, and holds bad actors accountable.
