Week in Review: At League of Arizona Cities & Towns Conference, Kelly Meets with Arizona Mayors on Community Priorities
Kelly stopped by the Greater Arizona Mayors Association’s annual meeting to hear from mayors across Northern Arizona on housing, water, and wildfire recovery Kelly also hosted a meet and greet with rural mayors from Central and Southern Arizona to hear directly about the challenges facing their communities This week, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly met with dozens of Arizona mayors, city and town managers, and county representatives in Phoenix during the 2026 League of Arizona Cities & Towns Conference , hearing directly about the issues and opportunities facing communities across the state. Kelly and the mayors discussed housing supply and federal housing policy, the impact of the war in Iran on energy costs, Colorado River water negotiations, wildfire recovery and forest restoration, FEMA disaster assistance, and the Winslow levee project. Kelly took questions from the group and emphasized his commitment to being a resource for Arizona’s cities and towns. Sen.
