Rep. Boebert Calls on the Senate to Pass the Farm Bill and Fy27 Agriculture Appropriations and Move to Conference

September 30, 2026 Press Release EATON, CO — Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (CO-04) today called on the Senate to pass the Farm Bill, and FY27 Agriculture appropriations and send them to conference so Colorado farmers and ranchers finally have certainty. The House passed H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, on April 30, and H.R. 8646, the FY27 Agriculture Appropriations bill, on June 4. “Colorado’s farmers and ranchers feed this country, and they deserve timely certainty heading into the next harvest,” said Rep. Boebert . “The House has done its part. Democrats need to stop standing in the way in an effort to cover up fraud, waste, and abuse and pass the farm bill. Every Democrat on the Agriculture Committee voted against the bill.” Rep. Boebert’s work for Colorado agriculture includes: Being named a Farm Bill conferee and standing ready to begin negotiations immediately Pushing to lock in the CREP Improvement Act, the PRIME Act for local meat processing, a ban on CCP ownership of U.S. farmland, grazing access, forest management, livestock interstate-commerce protections, and commonsense SNAP reforms Securing major agriculture wins in H.R. 8646, the Agriculture Appropriations bill, including five amendments redirecting $10 million from bureaucracy to the USDA Inspector General, Farm Service Agency, Rural Development, Rural Utilities Service, and NRCS Conservation Operations Designating millet as a specialty crop in the Appropriations bill and fighting to include an amendment designating millet as a specialty crop in the Farm Bill Voting for the House farm bill after securing wins for Colorado Advancing the Finish the Arkansas Valley Conduit Act to deliver clean, reliable water to Southeastern Colorado “I will always advocate on behalf of Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District, our farmers, ranchers, and rural communities, and I am ready to negotiate,” Rep.
