Moreno Rips Democrat Political Stunts, Shreds Liberal Media Defense of Open Borders on CNN

WASHINGTON –Today, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio)joined CNNto discuss Democrats’ blatant political stunts, their radical and out-of-touch immigration positions and the liberal media’s defense of open borders.
“In Los Angeles and California, they refuse to protect their citizens and are instead protecting illegal aliens,”said Moreno.“The reason ICE is under attack is because rather than turning over these criminal aliens in a jail where one ICE agent can collect one criminal alien and deport them, they release them out into the community…all we’re asking for is a low bar: protect your citizens, cooperate with law enforcement, and allow us to expel the people who shouldn’t be in this country in the first place.”
