The End Trump’s Tariff Tax Act would revoke and refund Trump’s recently imposed 12.5% global tariffs and 50% tariffs on Canadian goods. The bill would also repeal the authorities that Trump used to impose these tariffs, preventing him from imposing any additional tariffs using these authorities in the future. “Donald Trump’s reckless economic and foreign policies have only led to higher prices and squeezed the pockets of hardworking Americans. Nevadans are struggling to make ends meet, and instead of trying to lower costs, Trump is engaging in a totally senseless trade war with Canada and other allies, and making the situation worse,” said Senator Rosen. “I was proud to help introduce this bill to rein in Trump’s ability to unilaterally impose reckless tariffs, and will continue fighting back against any policy that takes money away from hardworking Nevada families.” Senator Rosen has consistently opposed Trump’s across-the-board tariffs and worked to provide relief to Nevada families. Last month, she attempted to pass her resolution calling for the removal of Trump’s 50 percent tariffs on Canada and denouncing Donald Trump’s trade war with Canada, which was blocked by Senate Republicans. Following the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down some of Trump’s illegal tariffs, Senator Rosen joined her Democratic Senate colleagues in introducing a bill to protect small businesses and their consumers from further tariff-related harm. Earlier this year, she introduced bills to exclude homebuilding materials and groceries from Trump’s tariffs, which would help lower costs for families. ### Facebook-f Instagram Youtube Flickr Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy Contact Email Jacky Request a Meeting Office Locations Newsletter Signup Privacy Policy For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations For Nevadans Constituent Services Help With a Federal Agency Flag Requests Tour Requests Internships Senate Page Nominations Academy Nominations Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding Resource Guides Veterans Resource Guide Senior Resource Guide Small Business Pocket Guide Federal Funding Grant Requests Appropriations Requests Community Project Funding About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos About Jacky Biography Committees Voting Record Legislation News Press Releases In the News Videos
