MEDIA ADVISORY: Senator Welch to Host Common Grounds Listening Sessions in Windsor, Grand Isle, and Lamoille Counties

JOHNSON, SOUTH HERO & BETHEL, VT — U.S.Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.)will travel to Windsor, Grand Isle, and Lamoille Counties next week as part of his ‘Common Grounds with Senator Welch’ listening session series.
Senator Welch invites Vermonters to get a cup of coffee and discuss how Washington can work better for the Green Mountain State. The Common Grounds events will be held on Tuesday, April 7thin Johnson; Wednesday, April 8thin South Hero; and on Thursday, April 9thin Bethel.
While in Johnson, South Hero, and Bethel, Senator Welch will celebrate federal funding secured through the Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) process to support flood resilience, rural infrastructure improvements, and rural development.
The Senator will host ‘Common Grounds’ listening sessions in every county of Vermont in 2026.
