STATEMENT: Rep. Min Votes ‘No’ on House Republicans’ Bill to Disenfranchise Millions of Americans
April 10, 2025 Press Release Washington, D.C. — Representative Dave Min (CA-47) released the following statement on his vote against House Republicans’ so-called “SAVE” Act: “The so-called “SAVE” Act claims to solve a problem that does not exist – despite the baseless conspiracies peddled by the White House, they have never been able to show any significant voter fraud, let alone any evidence that undocumented immigrants are voting en masse in our elections. This bill is a Trojan Horse that will make it harder for tens of millions of Americans to vote, while costing taxpayers billions of dollars. “The SAVE Act will effectively disenfranchise so many of the Californians I represent – including married women who have changed their names, military servicemembers stationed abroad, and victims of domestic violence. I strongly oppose this bill, which is a clear and direct attack on our democracy and the right to vote.” ###
