Donalds Stands For Justice: Demands Nicolás Maduro Is Held Accountable For His Despicable Crimes
WASHINGTON – The United States Department of Justice and the United States Department of State have officially increased the reward for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Nicolás Maduro. The new offer stands at "up to $50 million." For over a decade, Maduro has led Cartel de los Soles, which is responsible for trafficking drugs into the United States. On July 25, 2025, the U.S. Department of the Treasury designated Cartel de Los Soles as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT). In 2020, Nicolás Maduro Moros was charged in a Southern District of New York federal indictment for narco-terrorism, conspiracy to import cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices in violation of Title 21 U.S.C. §§ 960a and 963, and 18 U.S.C. § 924. Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) released the following statement: "Maduro uses foreign terrorist organizations to traffic deadly drugs and violence into our nation. Maduro is one of the largest narco-traffickers in the world and a threat to our national security. Maduro must be held accountable for his despicable crimes. Enough is enough."
