June 09, 2026 Congressman Shri Thanedar Introduces 10 Amendments to Trump’s Reconciliation Bill to Hold the Department of Homeland Security Accountable Washington, D.C. — Congressman Shri Thanedar (D-MI), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security’s Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability Subcommittee, introduced 10 amendments for the Department of Homeland Security’s Reconciliation Bill. “Donald Trump’s DHS reconciliation bill gifts billions of dollars to a cruel and unaccountable immigration enforcement system,” said Rep.
