Ground beef now costs about $7 a pound at the grocery store — that’s a record high. As families grapple with higher prices, the White House seems focused on everything but lowering costs.

We just filed to be your next Governor and Lt. Governor! Ben and I are excited to get to work to grow Minnesota's economy, lower costs, and make state government work better for everyone.

Last night the people of the Twin Cities received the JFK Profile in Courage Award. It was an inspiration to be there as Imam Yusuf Abdulle, Natalie Ehret, Carolina Ortiz & Zena Stenvik accepted the award. As Yusuf said: “I encourage everybody to choose to be brave.” That's what Minnesotans did.

Costs are too high, yet this administration’s focus is on putting the President’s face on money.

The people of the Twin Cities are being awarded the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award tonight. This winter, Minnesotans showed the world what courage looks like. Our state was the center of America's heartbreak, but we were also the center of America's hope.

I know who I am, and I know who I am running for: the people of Minnesota.

The Kennedy Center belongs to the people. As the judge wrote: “Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it.”

Ben Schierer will make a great Lieutenant Governor. He has a long history of serving his community in Fergus Falls, and he’s a proven leader in economic development in rural Minnesota. He will be a great partner to work with me on moving Minnesota forward.

Today I'm excited to announce my running mate for Lieutenant Governor: former Fergus Falls Mayor Ben Schierer. Ben hasn’t just talked about how to create opportunities in greater Minnesota – he’s actually done it.

Prices continue to rise and paychecks can’t keep up. President Trump’s tariffs and war with Iran are driving up costs and the American people are paying the price.

I was in Blaine for the Highway 65 Reconstruction Project groundbreaking. These four highway overpasses (combo of state, federal & local funding) will finally & vastly improve one of the most dangerous stretches of road in Minnesota. Less congestion, less traffic lights and safe driving. YES!

Rochester Airport continues to keep up with the times and it is an airport that receives life-saving organs and equipment every day. We got federal funding for an upgrade that will improve safety and support cargo, air ambulances, pilot training, and local businesses.

Honored to receive the endorsement of the Minnesota AFL-CIO. I come from a Union family. The unions made the mines safe where my grandpa worked. Both my mom and dad belonged to unions. When unions are strong, our economy is strong. When our economy is strong, America is strong.

Tariffs and global instability are driving up fertilizer costs for Minnesota farmers. I was in Mankato because some of the biggest innovations are happening right here: converting local biofuels into domestically sourced fertilizer, creating jobs, and cutting dependence on China.

On this Eid al-Adha, I’m thinking of Minnesota’s Muslim community and all those gathered in prayer today, especially following today’s tragic shooting at an Eid prayer service at Canterbury Park. My thoughts are with the victim's family and the entire community.

Was in Rochester today for the groundbreaking on Rochester International Airport's General Aviation ramp. I worked to secure federal funding to break ground on this project that will modernize aging infrastructure and improve airport safety. ✈️

Keeping costs down for farmers and families starts with keeping production local. The Central Farm Service and Minnesota Farmers Union are working together to do just that – and this is the kind of innovation our state needs. Good to be there with Gary Wertish and KC Graner.

I was honored to attend the ceremony at Fort Snelling yesterday. All those buried there are heroes — ordinary people who did extraordinary things. Americans who fought for a future where liberty prevails.

Republican North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis is right that Congress decides how taxpayer dollars are spent — not the president. And your money shouldn’t go to people convicted of assaulting law enforcement and the Capitol on January 6th.

As Americans, we will have political differences. But two values always unite us: our respect for our country, and our respect for the men and women who serve it.

Voting is a right, not a privilege. The SAVE Act won’t save anything. It will strip Americans of their right to vote. We have to fight back to protect our democracy.

At Fort Snelling National Cemetery today I visited my dad’s gravesite. He was proud to be a veteran, and now rests among the “heroes among us” he so often wrote about — the brave men and women who served our country with courage and humility.

I spoke at the Memorial Day Ceremony at Fort Snelling National Cemetery to honor heroes like Nicole Amor of White Bear Lake, who died serving in Kuwait this year, and Captain Bianchi of New Ulm, who gave his life in World War II. Their courage helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today.

On Memorial Day, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice & remember the families who carry their legacy forward. That includes Joey Amor & the Amor kids & family. Nicole Amor of White Bear Lake died this year in Kuwait, serving our nation. Our soldiers’ sacrifice can never be forgotten.

Gas prices are up more than 40% from a year ago. Americans are paying the price for the president’s war with Iran at the pump, at the grocery store, and in their summer travel plans.

Great to have Governor Whitmer in Minnesota! Workers deserve dignity and jobs built for the future. That’s what we’re fighting for together.

While costs are through the roof, what has the president been focused on? -Fighting a war costing taxpayers billions of dollars. -Building a billion-dollar ballroom and an arch dedicated to himself. Not lowering your costs.

Trump’s war with Iran has cost Americans more than $42 billion in gas and diesel costs. That’s more than $300 per family. Not peanuts.

They’re blocking a vote that would’ve reined in the President’s unauthorized war with Iran. Congress needs to do its job and assert its constitutional authority to end this war that has already cost Americans more than $42 billion in higher fuel costs.
