With $300 billion, we could end homelessness, fund cancer research for 40 years, and give every child free pre-K for over 7 years. Instead, Trump is sending it to Iran. This is not America First. Not even close.

Lucas Franco and the Laborers' Union get it: you can't solve a housing crisis without building. That means cutting red tape, working with the private sector, and lowering the cost of housing for Minnesotans. That's exactly what we're going to do.

I’m introducing w/ Sen Markey the Asal Sayas National Strategy on Young Adult Cancers Act, named in memory of Asal, my incredible former staffer who we recently lost after a valiant battle with cancer. It builds on Asal's work to strengthen research, diagnoses, & treatments for young adult cancers.

The President promised the American people that his fancy new ballroom wasn’t going to be built with taxpayer dollars. Another promise he didn't keep. We've just learned that half of it is paid for by your money.

A good day to remember what grace is all about.

Great story on Helping Paws honoring the wishes of Colin and Sophie to remember their parents, Mark and Melissa Hortman. Nine puppies are training in honor of their beloved dog Gilbert and will one day serve veterans and people with disabilities. https://ow.ly/C90150ZbZbX

I joined Mayor Busse & Chief Hodges in Bloomington to highlight how the city is leading the way on public safety. Programs like Pathways to Policing are helping recruit future officers & strengthen community trust. I'll keep supporting law enforcement with the resources they need to keep us safe.

People across the country are struggling with higher costs while the White House is being used to promote a UFC event and Trump's crypto coin. Completely misplaced priorities when Americans need leaders focused on lowering costs and getting things done.

Minnesota's firefighters put themselves on the line every single day. I'm honored to have earned their endorsement and committed to giving them the support they need to keep Minnesotans safe.

John and Yvette Hoffman survived an unthinkable attack one year ago — and their daughter Hope saved them by calling 911. Today, John is back serving in the State Senate, committed to making Minnesota better and Yvette is as strong and engaged with the world as ever. That's Minnesota's courage.

We lost Melissa and Mark a year ago. Woke up to a sunny morning in their honor. They loved to go out with their dog Gilbert or garden or just hang out with friends and family. Remember them today and go out and do something good.

The President might be the only American who “loves inflation.” Everybody else is sick and tired of it.

Minnesotans: tomorrow every one of our state parks is free. Get out and enjoy one of our 64 beautiful parks — they're some of my favorite places to visit. I took this photo years ago of a Lady's Slipper in full bloom at Itasca State Park. 🌸

This is how fragile rural internet is: one small company fails, and families and businesses across 5,000 square miles go dark. 120,000 Minnesota households still lack reliable broadband. My Last Mile Initiative will connect every Minnesotan with broadband they can count on.

I am honored to earn the endorsement of the Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters Association. Today I joined President Scott Vadnais and Minnesota firefighters in Minneapolis to highlight the need to support our first responders who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.

The New World screwworm is a serious threat to livestock, farmers, ranchers, and rural economies. I’m urging the USDA to hire more veterinarians, expand research, and ensure we have the tools needed to stop this infestation. https://ow.ly/iVuu50ZbaBM

Alex and Michaela are both high school teachers. They chose careers serving their community, and they shouldn't have to sacrifice financial stability because of it. I launched my housing plan with them because every Minnesotan deserves the chance to afford a home and build a future.

The war in Ukraine has now lasted 1,569 days, surpassing the length of World War I. Every day this war continues is another day thousands of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia remain separated from their families. We cannot stop working to bring them home.

Speaker Hortman was my dear friend. Her kids, Colin & Sophie said it best: honor her & Mark by doing something to make our community a little better for someone else. That was their life. Tina & I spoke on the Senate floor today about all Melissa & Mark did for the world. That is their legacy.

Making life more affordable for Minnesotans starts with making housing more affordable. That’s why I’m committed to putting Minnesota on a path to build 100,000 homes and lower housing costs for Minnesota families.

As former Mayor of Fergus Falls, my running mate Ben Schierer knows that housing and economic growth go hand in hand. If workers can't find a place to live, businesses can't grow. Our plan will build more homes, lower costs, and create more opportunities across Minnesota.

Republicans in Congress just wrote ICE a $70 billion blank check. This is the same agency that has violated the constitutional rights of American citizens, defied court orders, and made Minnesota less safe. I voted no.

Protecting your right to vote is protecting democracy. And right now, that democracy is under attack. Proud to stand with Stacey Abrams, who knows what it means to fight back.

I don’t know many farmers in Minnesota who have been “doing very well” under this administration. Between the tariffs and higher costs, life hasn’t gotten easier for them.

Back at First Avenue last night for the National Independent Venue Association’s annual conference. ⭐ Thanks to Dayna Frank for hosting. I fought to pass the Save Our Stages Act because independent venues bring people together, support local jobs, and strengthen our communities.

Trump Calling Welker “crooked” “stupid” and then the ultimate—“darling”—for asking him what evidence he has that elections are rigged? What is “crooked” is the money for the ballroom, what is “stupid” are the tariffs. And what is “darling” is a first class journalist.

The Superior Trail is one of Minnesota’s treasures that I've loved hiking with John over the years. But we don’t compare to Michael who completed the entire 310-mile trail in five days at age 69. It was a great way to celebrate the trail’s 40th anniversary in Duluth.

Great to have Kentucky Governor Beshear in Minnesota! He’s created 70,000 jobs, expanded healthcare access, and brought critical investments to his state — working across the aisle along the way. That’s what fighting for working people looks like.

Eighty-two years ago today, thousands of Americans and Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy to defend freedom and democracy. Their courage changed the course of history, and we honor their bravery and sacrifice.

The Director of National Intelligence has access to our most sensitive intelligence. Yet with everything the U.S. is facing, the President has handed that responsibility to Bill Pulte, a housing regulator with no intelligence experience. Totally unqualified and our Republican colleagues know it.
