I have seen no indication there was any immediate threat to Americans. So why did we put troops in harms way and potentially ignite another forever war?

The U.S. Senate must be clear: no war with Iran.

I join all Americans in praying for the U.S. service members who are in harm’s way today, a day on which President Trump recklessly and unilaterally decided to enter our country into another foreign war. My full statement:

Congress must return immediately and vote to put an end to this war. Every Senator should be on the record—the American people deserve to know which of their leaders supports another potentially bloody and costly war in the Middle East. No war with Iran.

Trump is drawing our country into yet another foreign war that Americans don’t want and Congress has not authorized. The Iranian regime is a brutal and murderous dictatorship. But that does not give Trump the authority to unilaterally initiate a war of choice.
- AK
We’ve seen what happens when America goes into conflict in the Middle East without long-term strategy. When it comes to war, I — like the American people — do not trust this President.

Issues of war and peace should be treated with the utmost consequence. Trump owes Americans the same thing he was demanding of previous presidents if he’s going to put lives at risk. He hasn’t laid out the goals or the imminent threat posed by Iran that justifies risking a wider regional war.

We wake up this morning to learn that Trump has launched a reckless, illegal war. We can support the democracy movement and the people of Iran without risking the lives of our brave troops.

Donald Trump is unilaterally dragging us into another costly and deadly war in the Middle East that the American people don't want. Trump and Hegseth are putting American lives on the line to make themselves feel powerful, while our military families pay the real price.

War must always be a last resort & never a first choice. The Trump Administration seems to be engaging in a war of choice that rejects opportunities for diplomacy. 1/

President Trump’s military campaign against Iran and call for regime change are the beginning of a reckless new war of choice with no clear strategy and no clear endpoint. This is not how a democracy goes to war.

We had a deal with Iran to ensure limits on its nuclear capacities. Trump ended that deal. Now he says that sending our young people off to fight and potentially lose their lives for this country is just a ‘cost of war.’ This is the cost of his broken promises. No war with Iran.

President Trump fully acknowledging that this is a “war” and that American lives “may be lost.” All done against our Constitution, against the will of the American people, and without Congress’ approval.

As Black History Month draws to a close, we celebrate the enormous contributions made by Black Americans and resolve to never allow the Trump Admin to erase, diminish, or whitewash that history. American history and Black history are one story.

This is me soon after I joined the Scouts. I went on to become an Eagle Scout, where I learned how to work with kids from different backgrounds to reach a common goal, like staying dry on rainy nights with nothing but a tarp. Every kid should have access to these kinds of lessons.

ICE is tearing families apart and putting people in dangerous situations. Many immigrants—even children—are forced to defend themselves in deportation cases without a lawyer. The SHIELD Act would bolster immigrants’ access to legal support, so they don't have to face court alone.

Dreamers know no other home than America. They deserve a pathway to citizenship, not ICE’s cruelty.

Is the Trump administration punishing Anthropic because it’s refusing to help mass surveil American communities or build killer robots? The American people deserve to know what Trump officials are planning at the Pentagon. Secretary Pete Hegseth must testify.

Pres. Trump’s saber-rattling for war with Iran is taking the country down a dangerous path without a clear strategy or endgame. And that puts U.S. national security at considerable risk.

Since Trump was elected, this is what his “booming economy" looks like: - Billionaires became $1.5 trillion richer Meanwhile: - 60% live paycheck to paycheck - 15 million are losing health care - 20 million saw their premiums double

This is unprecedented. A company owned by the President's family, is seeking approvals from a federal agency over which the President has total control — including to hire & fire the people granting approvals. The company, the deal, the entire process is corrupt to the core.
