This latest attempt to impose sweeping tariffs on many of our trading partners is just another effort to raise costs on the American people, who are already paying more for everyday essentials as a result of the President’s war in Iran. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/03/b...

The Farm Bureau was with us and we talked about the year’s crop, trade policy and the special blend of hard work and grit needed to be a cherry farmer in America.

Visits like this are a great chance for me to hear directly from family farmers on what hurdles they face when dealing with government, so that I can bang pots and pans in D.C. to get them some relief.

It’s hard to overstate just how important cherries are to northern Michiganders. As a member of the Ag Committee, I take any chance I can get to visit our specialty crop farmers, like Royal Farms in Ellsworth.

Trump’s illegal, reckless and expensive war in Iran is driving up costs for families and small businesses everywhere—and there’s no end in sight. Trump himself said yesterday “I don’t care” if negotiations to end the war are over. Ridiculous. End the war. End the pain on Main Street.

Huge news if you love meritocracy. Our transgender servicemembers earned their roles in our military, making us more lethal and prepared to defend America from her enemies. And that's something Hegseth can't say.

This administration has a simple economic agenda: Massive tax breaks for billionaires, tariffs and higher prices for you.

Today, I was pleased to receive an update from Army Secretary Driscoll that Rock Island Arsenal’s workforce would be protected from significant job cuts. The Arsenal is a key pillar of our nation’s readiness & the economy of the Quad Cities, & I am glad to see its importance recognized by the Army.

President Trump is doubling down on his $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund. Another reminder that we cannot take anyone's word for it. The fund is not dead until it is dead. We need to pass our bill, the Drain the Slush Fund Act, to do just that. www.cnn.com/2026/06/03/p...

Trump is trying to impose a bogus political litmus test for all federal grants – limiting the funding, subjects, and potential discoveries of our researchers. The cost of such a test would be felt for generations and could permanently stunt American scientific progress.

It's been two weeks since I connected Trump's Acting Attorney General with Epstein survivors and they haven't heard a peep from the DOJ. That's disgraceful. Todd Blanche said he'd meet with them—and I will not let him off the hook. Epstein survivors deserve justice.

If AI could disrupt half the workforce, we can’t wait until people lose their jobs to act. The companies profiting from AI should help cushion the disruption. That starts with taxing the data centers powering it.

The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which I helped negotiate, provided $1 billion in funding for schools to hire mental health workers and counselors. Now, the Trump administration has cut off those grants, leaving children and schools high and dry.

Happy 603 Day, New Hampshire! Today we celebrate the people, communities, and values that make the Granite State unlike anywhere else. I’m proud to call New Hampshire home.

Call me crazy, but I believe our Director of National Intelligence should have some experience with national intelligence.

Americans have paid $53 billion more for gas and diesel because of the Iran war, but Treasury Secretary Bessent just said inflation is a “blip.” Not for families paying at the pump.

As Trump wages war on our elections: @democrats.senate.gov's Election Protection Task Force is gearing up with lawyers and response teams the moment he tries to interfere. The GOP is already ignoring your bills, wages, health care, and freedom—we won’t let them ignore your vote too.

After seeing a dad put back grapes because they were too expensive, I was inspired to try and make things better for families across Delaware. That's what government exists to do: make life easier - not harder - for people. This is a sign Trump's leadership is failing us.

I trust Trump about as far as I could throw him. Congress needs to BAN any kind of corrupt slush fund like this from EVER existing. A wink and a nod won't cut it—we need to ban it by LAW.

Scott Pelley is one of the most respected journalists in America. He was fired because he's focused the truth. The leaders of CBS are focused on keeping President Trump happy. Suppressing reporters because the president finds it inconvenient is a sign of a democracy in crisis.

That's why I'm pushing to stop hedge funds from buying single family homes, cut the red tape slowing construction, and open the door for first-time buyers. Owning a home should be within reach for anyone willing to work for it.
- MK
Owning a home shouldn't be a luxury. But for a lot of Arizonans right now it feels completely out of reach, and it's even harder when Wall Street can buy up whole neighborhoods and price working families out of their own communities.

Can you be more out of touch? This administration has literally made everything more expensive with tariffs and war. Yet they have the audacity to turn around and tell you everything is great.

But this corrupt act of self-dealing will never withstand legal scrutiny. Hopefully the court will strike it down. If not, a future IRS must refuse to honor this sham agreement.
- AS
The Acting Attorney General — and Trump’s criminal defense lawyer — claimed that he had settled Trump’s suit against the IRS by holding Trump, his family and businesses immune from audit. That would protect $100 million of the president’s potentially fraudulent tax claims. 🧵

SCOTUS just cleared an Alabama redistricting map that just 3 years ago a federal court ruled was illegal racial gerrymandering. Even after SCOTUS gutted the VRA, judges still said this map was unconstitutional. But SCOTUS is allowing it for this election. Corrupt.

“Two people characterized the work as among the most delicate that the Pentagon performs.” This administration thinks a convicted Jan. 6 rioter should be doing that kind of work?????

Trump says he only hires the best people. Yet his administration just hired a convicted Jan 6th rioter to work inside a Pentagon office that manages highly classified military operations. If you attack the Capitol, you should NEVER get a government paycheck or a taxpayer payout.

The contrast is clear: The GOP is fighting for Trump and his corrupt slush fund, his ballroom, a rogue police force, and his reckless war in Iran. While Democrats are fighting to lower costs for Americans, bring back stability, and pushing against Trump’s corrupt administration.

Multiple judges ruled that Alabama’s maps discriminated based on race. Yet the Supreme Court is bending over backwards to let them stand. This court will do anything to help Republicans stay in power. No matter the cost. They have lost all semblance of impartiality.
