Moreno, Scott, Lummis, Hagerty Release Market Structure Discussion Draft

WASHINGTON –Senators Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio), Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), and Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.) released an initialdiscussion draftof digital asset market structure legislation covering issues under the Banking Committee’s jurisdiction. The discussion draft builds on theCLARITY Act,which passed the House of Representatives last week with strong bipartisan support. The group also issued aRequest for Information (RFI)for stakeholders to submit feedback on the draft and on a wide range of questions.
