Senator Banks Tours River Ridge Commerce Center, Holds Roundtable with Southeast Indiana LeadersFriday, February 20, 2026
New Albany, IN– Today, Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) toured the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville and held a roundtable with community leaders from across Southeast Indiana at Indiana University Southeast (IUSE).
The roundtable included IUSE Chancellor Dr. Debbie Ford, Ivy Tech Sellersburg Chancellor Travis Haire, state representatives, county commissioners, law enforcement, economic development officials, and area business leaders.

Background:
The River Ridge Commerce Center is 6,000 acres of master-planned industrial and commercial land built on the former Indiana Army Ammunition Plant site. The center is home to dozens of companies and supports more than 13,000 jobs.
